Orono and Stillwater
The Stillwater and Orono generating stations, owned and operated by Brookfield Renewable Power US, are located on the Penobscot River in the State of Maine. CHC provided a total of six 1700 mm axial flow units, four of the units single-regulated, and two double-regulated, with vertical brushless synchronous generators to these new hydro plants.
